Mass, weight, and common mistakes
In everyday use, “weight” and “mass” are often used interchangeably, but the converter handles mass units. Pounds-force and newtons describe force and require a gravitational assumption, so they are outside this tool's scope. Another common error is using 454 g per pound for convenience.
