Increasing this value increases every equivalent pressure proportionally. A common mistake is treating kilogram-force as kilogram mass without the standard-gravity force definition. Pressure in pounds per square inch is the reciprocal required entry path, measured in psi. A value such as 100 is valid, and changing it recalculates kgf/cm². Do not enter “100 psi” in the box because the unit is already shown beside the control.

Formula and unit meaning
The forward formula is psi = kgf/cm² × 14.223343307. The reverse formula is kgf/cm² = psi ÷ 14.223343307. The factor comes from the pascal definitions of the two units: one kilogram-force per square centimeter equals 98,066.5 Pa, while one psi equals 6,894.757293168 Pa. Practical interpretation
kgf/cm² is still encountered on older pressure gauges, hydraulic equipment, pump literature, and regional technical documents. PSI is common in U.S. customary applications. Because this is a linear conversion, doubling the source pressure doubles every result, and converting forward then backward should return the original number apart from displayed rounding. Preserve enough significant digits for the measurement quality you actually have; extra decimal places do not improve the underlying gauge accuracy.
